So happy I’m not here anymore and at my 4 year, only reason it gets two stars are because there’s a handful of decent teachers here. Guidance counselor are useless worked all semester with mine and was asking if I needed to take Econ 201 and she said I didn’t ended up costing me 4 more classes at my 4year college because that was the last credit I needed for my associates. Online teachers are usually impossible to reach here and put in minimal effort into helping students once I asked for feedback and I got “I thought that’s what you deserved” They also promised me a $1000 scholarship and somehow ran out of funds? How do you give someone a scholarship then take it away….. although this community college is cheap I would highly recommend going anywhere else if you don’t want to have grey hairs by the time you are 20 dealing with this horrible school. Also if you ever need support with anything besides tech good luck. Male at the front desk of the information center is very rude too and will make fun of you to his coworkers if you come in and ask for help more than once. Overall worst experience at any school I’ve ever been to and I have gone too and just some nasty people who don’t care about the students working here that I’m surprised...
Read moreThis was a very decent community college. It saved me money in the long run. I came here to do my prerequisites before transferring to a university. I used the website Rate Your Professor to choose my classes. It was spot on for the most part, although my basic biology class was a lie. People said that class and professor were super easy but it wasn’t. The professor wasn’t as nice and helpful as people made her out to be. My other professors were very accurate in the reviews. Those professors actually cared and assisted you in learning the material better.
The cafeteria was spacious and the food was very decent. Prices were reasonable for poor college students. The labs were great quality. I learned a lot during my anatomy and physiology 1 and 2. They provided models, online programs, and real cadavers to help us succeed in our learning.
Parking was adequate. It wasn’t a problem finding someplace to park except for this one area. That area got packed real quick so you had to walk a ways to get to...
Read moreI attended here for four years. I completed one degree in CAD and was working on my second degree in Engineering. I recently transferred to a four-year university, and I genuinely miss Waubonsee.
Plenty of organizations to be a part of; I was in several honor societies and had close relationships with most of my professors. I cannot thank you enough, the best experience in education I ever had, and it's because all of you cared. The deans, professors, and administrators are extraordinarily helpful. I cannot recommend this campus enough. I felt very safe attending Waubonsee. I genuinely wish you offered Bachelor's degree.
The staff is organized and extraordinarily efficient. Thank you for furthering my pursuit of education, increasing my repertoire of skills, and increasing my overall armamentarium of knowledge. Without the help of this great college, I would have never found my...
