I am writing this review because I vowed that I would tell everyone about the awful experience with Washington National Cemetery. I had a meeting with a Washing National Cemetery rep presentative who took all of the paperwork and insurance information required for my mothers services. Before the meeting was over, I asked the representative , Preston Tate, if there was anything else I needed to do or submit for my mothers services. He responded, No, he would take care of everything else. Fast forward, I call the DAY BEFORE to make sure that everything was ok for my mothers burial. I was told by Peggy that they were not paid by the insurance company yet. I would have to come up with $8,000 or postpone my mothers burial. Guess why, Preston Tate or anybody working in that place did not submit any kind of paperwork to my insurance, did not handle any of my paperwork correctly. NOTHING WAS SUBMITTED, it was if our meeting never took place. Meanwhile, Preston Tate was on vacation! For anybody reading this, please do not bury your loved one at Washington National Cemetery. It was by far one of the worst experiences of my life. The customer service was abysmal! There is absolutely nothing I can say positive about this piss poor cemetery. I should have read the previous horrible reviews before burying my mother here but unfortunately, my whole family is buried here. From this point on, I will make sure that no one in my family has their final resting place in a God forsaken...
Read moreI cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional assistance we received from Amina at Washington National Cemetery. From the moment we walked in—without an appointment—she was incredibly accommodating, making time for us despite her undoubtedly busy schedule.
Amina's knowledge and expertise in her field were evident from the start. Unlike anyone else we had spoken to at the previous four cemeteries, she took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, breaking down each step with clarity and patience. She not only outlined the options available but also provided the pros and cons of each, ensuring we made an informed decision that was best for our family.
What truly set Amina apart was her remarkable balance of compassion and professionalism. Planning final arrangements is never easy, but she handled our situation with kindness and genuine care while maintaining the utmost professionalism. She also shared invaluable information that no one else had taken the time to provide, making an overwhelming process feel much more manageable.
Washington National Cemetery was by far the easiest and best experience we had throughout this difficult journey, and that is entirely thanks to Amina. Her dedication and expertise turned what could have been an incredibly stressful experience into one filled with support and understanding. If you're looking for guidance with funeral arrangements, I highly recommend asking for Amina—you will be in the best...
Read moreMy grandmother is buried at Washington National Cemetery which wouldn't have been my first choice but ok. After her passing I went to purchase an in grown memorial for her and it's been a year and we have not received anything. I have been working with Ms. Day throughout this time and she started out very helpful but when we finalize the contract with Washington National everything went down hill. I have called and sent emails with concerns as to when we would receive my grandmother's memorial and I get nothing or i'll call you next week and it would be a month later and still no response. This is a joke. People who invest there time and money should NOT be treated this way.
I want to add to my review that the reply that comes to every review must be generic because they do NOT reply back. I have sent several emails to the so call owner and I get nothing. It's been no change in getting my grandmother's memorial made and installed. My mother reached out to Ms Peggie Day today and she couldn't give her any update. After my mother spoke about getting a lawyer Ms Day stated she would sent out to get memorial expedited....(why would you wait 6 months later to expedite?).
What Washington National Cemetery means to...
