Purchased a Custom leather radio strap that had hand painted graphics on it to replace a Boston leather strap. This was my first purchase from this company and it certainly won't be my last. Item came well packaged and the stitching and quality of the leather work is amazing, the craftsmanship in the painted sections is also very nice, the brass fasteners, swivels and rivets are of high quality and appear sturdy that a neanderthal truck company guy can't break, the rivets have been filed and cut down so they won't snag on any of your gear and are smooth.Used it at a working structure fire the next day and had no issues. The leather feels of that of a quality tool belt pouch and is thick. Customer service was very helpful, as soon as my order was placed I received a text about any questions about my order. The only thing I would say is, it would be nice to have a rendering to look at and see as you build your strap or any custom work on the website. I would definitely buy a pair...

10/10 would recommend Box 31. I’ve used a regular elastic helmet band for years and never found the need for a leather one. We ran a midnight fire alarm and the tools I keep in my band fell out on the way to the call. We returned the station and out of frustration I pulled the trigger and bought a leather band from Box 31. I went with the Hi-Def strap because it allowed for me to customize it with my shift logo. Shipping was fast, got it in around 2 weeks and put it into service this past Wednesday at 7am shift change. At 1330 tones dropped to mutual aid a structure fire in a neighboring city. My crew was first in fire attack and shortly after primary search on a 7000+ sq ft house. I am proud to say that my band held up BEAUTIFULLY throughout it all. Even being brand new leather, not broken in whatsoever, it kept in place and did EXACTLY what I needed it to do. I’ll be placing another order here real soon for a strap and suspenders....
