When lumpers are at a reciver or shipper it's usually an outside service and it is chargeable fee to the Shipper/Broker whoever paid you for that load if it is required fee they will then charge their customer if the option is there for you to unload it you will charge for your time whatever is cheapest.If the shippers customer doesn't pay the added required lumper fee back usually loss of their product service. Terrible people in the receiving office, more specifically the short dark haired woman. Almost broke my truck window banging on it angrily because she had to walk out to me after she misread my phone number and had been calling the wrong number. Then proceeded to threaten to call police and have me ejected from the property without signing the paperwork because the load broker was not working fast enough for her liking with the lumper check, FYI drivers have zero control over brokers and office staff. this woman was very stand-offish, Rude, impatient, and bordering on Robbery with demanding the lumper check which I had already submitted to the broker and was waiting...
