Frasch Park Golf Course in Sulphur, Louisiana, is a solid choice for golfers seeking an affordable and enjoyable round. At just $25 for seniors on weekdays, itās a fantastic value. The course which I , currently rate a 7 out of 10 for condition, is undergoing a green changeover, which slightly affects playability. However, give it a couple of weeks, and it should be in great shape, as the staff is clearly dedicated to maintenance. The layout is very playable, offering a fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels without being overly punishing. Fairways are decently maintained, and the greens, though transitioning, roll reasonably well. The courseās design takes advantage of the natural surroundings, making for a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and the pace of play is generally good, even on busier days. Facilities are basic but clean, and the overall vibe is welcoming, especially for locals and seniors looking for a budget-friendly outing. Iād recommend Frasch Park to anyone in the area looking for a laid-back, cost-effective round. Itās not perfect yet, but itās a gem...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlayed the course for the first time yesterday, and Iāve got to say, major props to Sulphur! From the clubhouse to the fairways, everything was clean, green, and surprisingly fancy for a city course. Now compare that to my local spot in Beaumont, Henry Homberg⦠that place feels more like a cow pasture with flags. City of Beaumont must think grass grows on its own.
Good job, Sulphur, Iāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy previous review was not worth carrying hatred in my heart ultimately this course is fun to play and the golf pro is very friendly and fun to visit with. The only complaint I have is myself and order veterans and military was not too happy with the way our tournament launched off but itās ok maybe next year...
