Peace and quiet when not many people are here. There are walkers who walk laps, there are parked cars of people who never get out. Lol You can always find somewhere to sit and be alone to read. Or you can walk or have a picnic If you don't have a book, they have a lending library near the drinking fountain. It's a small box. Take a book or leave one or some. They should add a food donation box as well. For visitors or homeless people who frequent the park. It would be a kind gesture. The waterfall and various fountains add grounding water energy to balance the earth energy here. There are big old oak trees which I love near the outer edges. They're also grounding. So these places are good places to sit if you're having a hard time staying focused or staying calm. If you're angry or upset, sit near the water or larger trees and help them ground your energy and transmute what's not needed to get you back right. The loudest thing you might hear is the train and it's actually honking now so around 7:45-8am. I've never heard it before but I'm pretty good at drowning out the noise. Sulphur is really slacking on this one. No security and it smells rancid when people come eat crawfish and then the shells sit in the trashcan for a week. I loved this park, please maintain it. * update* added a star because they finally fixed the lights and did some grounds keeping to help improve visibility and a sense of more security for evening goers. Someone crashed in to the pump house and destroyed it though. So now the main fountain is drained and part of the walk...
Read moreThe Grove is a beautiful park that's perfect for a relaxing day out! The many fountains and vibrant flowers create a serene and relaxing environment. The park is teeming with cutsie wildlife, we love spotting the playful squirrels and various birds. The walking path is ideal for a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of picnic benches with tables to sit for lunch, or soak in the scenery. The restrooms are always clean and available. One of my favorite features is the "Take a Book, Leave a Book" station, which adds a unique touch, to sit and read, and encourages community engagement. The Grove is truly a gem and a wonderful place to unwind and...
