Disclaimer: Long informative post. It deeply saddens me to leave this negative review. I drove 3+ hours(one way) to shop at this store because I saw their social media page. This was my 2nd trip to TD's from Mississippi. 1st shopping trip to TD's was a bad experience that turned good. I walked in & 2 male employees didn't greet me nor acknowledge me(one was not busy, the other one was fraternizing with a coworker or customer), I felt that was very rude. I walked around the store & still wasn't asked if I needed help. I proceeded to the bedroom section & Justin asked me if I needed any help. I questioned him about a few bedsets. He asked if anyone was already assisting me and I said no. I really wanted to inform him that I felt that me not getting offered any help from the 2 previous employees was racially motivated. Justin apologized to me in regards to the situation. He absolutely ROCK!!! That bad situation turned good thanks to Justin. Fastword to July 31st. I arrived at TD's furniture, I walked in and was instantly greeted. I asked if Justin was in and she said he's on vacation. I browsed around the store and arrived to the bedroom area AGAIN š. The same lady that greeted me came to offer her assistance. I inquired about the price of a bed that I previously inquired about. I was initially told it's $1, 200 but when I asked her she said $1, 300. Then she said that it's not going on sale no time soon. I showed her my screenshot for proof then she changed her lie. She said I was given the sale price of the bed(the same that she said isn't going on saleš). Fast forward again: I get called over the intercom to pull around to the dock to get my bed that came in YESTERDAY(In which I wasn't called to let me know it arrived. My bed pieces are getting loaded(3pieces) . I noticed the headboard wasn't wrapped good like the other 2 pieces. I advised one of the warehouse employees TWICE to wrap it better but he didn't.! I arrived home to a cracked headboard and I am lividš¤. I'm not 1000ā sure if I picked it up cracked or if it cracked in route to Mississippi. I am so heartbroken by this entire ordeal. I will definitely not be going. My public plea to you: INSPECT ALL FURNITURE ITEMS & PIECES BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE WAREHOUSE EVEN IF THEY ARE WRAPPED...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd give negative stars if it were possible. I called around trying to find the best price for the flexsteel, power recline with power headrest sofa in the silt color fabric. I called TD's at the beginning of the month and told the salesperson, Jesse Fairman, exactly what I wanted. He claimed that he had it on the floor. After getting the best price, he tells me that they are short staffed on delivery drivers and that I would need to wait until 1/27 for delivery. On 1/27, the delivery drivers brought the right color sofa, but with no power anything. I called the salesperson and I was told that there was miscommunication and that I knew that i was getting a non-power sofa. However, Jesse wrote down exactly what I called for which is the power sofa, Sku# 1010-62PH (PH for power headrest). on 1/6/2021. I was told that if I wanted the power, I would need to pay $200 more. I told him that he should cover that. He proceeded to whine and berate me that I was taking money from his family and that I had the audacity to even ask him to do that. That I should pay for it...Then hangs up before I could get a word in. So, I'm supposed to take away from my family for his mistake by paying for his incompetence and i'm also inconvenienced for over 3 weeks without a couch. Then Donna, a manager, steps in to try to make it work. I agree to split the $200 with Jesse, but she calls back the next day, 1/28/2021, to tell me that Jesse misquoted and that it's $300 and if I wanted the couch, it would be march/april before I received it. So i said that I would cover the original $100 and they or Jesse could cover the difference for his incompetence. Donna called me back and said that they weren't going to do that and will be sending me a check for the sofa I had paid. This company rather lose $1,800 instead of paying $200 to cover their & their salespersons mistakes. Thanks TD's Fine Furniture...Real stand-up company. Here's a scripture to add to your facebook page: "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give them zero stars I would . Be sure to read the fine print when buying stuff from them because they will tell you one thing and when you want to return something do another . Long story short , we had a house fire in November and had to replace everything. We went there and spent almost 14,000 there alone . We were told we had a 30 day exchange come to find out itās 5 days and they charge you a 20% restock fee . Our bedroom suite isnāt the quality we expected and since we were in between our new house and the rental we didnāt sleep on the bed immediately. When we did finally sleep on our new bed it was well past the 5 days to return, so now weāre stuck with a poorly made noisy bed . The way the slacks are made from the headboard to the foot board make the mattress pull you toward the middle like thereās an invisible gravitational pull . Lesson learned , donāt go by what the sale person āJesse ā tells you ,read over your receipt and be sure you know the return policy before purchasing from them . They will say and do anything to get that commission. Our original bedroom suite that got lost to the fire was hands down the best , we got it from Barryās in Jasper and when we went there they didnāt make our design anymore. We usually also do business with Badcock bc theyāre great , but they didnāt have the bedroom suite we like . Needless to say we went to TDs and wow did we make a huge mistake . Donāt be a dummy like me , take your...
