Allen's Grocery — Local services in Summit

I'm sure all the locals know about Allen's. If you don't, or if you're just passing thru for a bit then you should know that Allen's grocery is not just a gas station as it may appear to passers by. Besides gas, they offer a complete fresh produce section, a full deli/meat dept, refrigerated and frozen food section, pantry foods, pizza to order, as well as fried chicken and many other fried foods. I'm certain they offer more goods I have yet to discover having just recently becoming a frequent shopper myself. There appears to be a fairly large staff and I've yet to see an emplyee thats not busy helping the never-ending rushes of customers from the time they open til they close. The outside view of the building looks deceptively small, but after entering I was astounded. It's not often that a write a review to this extent, so you know that when I do, its because I feel they deserve it. So wether you need a pack of smokes, a bag of chips, or a months worth of groceries for the whole family, Allen's grocery is the place to go. Great job...

Great small town store. They have a gas station, grocery store, meat market, coffee station in the store (right by the door) and a great meals to go. To go meals include but probably not limited to( I'm guessing) pizza, hamburgers, cheese burgers, chicken, potatoes wedges, etc and that's just the grab and go stuff. You need to go there and see for yourself. THEN THERE IS THE MEAT MARKET, fresh meat looks so good and there is frozen meat and fish. What caught my eye was the Snow Crab, I just don't know how to cook it. This store has to be seen to be appreciated. I had heard of this store and today just decided to go and see for myself. Allen's Grocery always has the best meats around. Hop in for their hot and cold deli where you can get fried shrimp, catfish, pizza, chicken, burgers etc. Sliced cheeses ,salami, bologna and more cut up for you by the thickness and weight you desire. Watch for double coupon days to save even more money. I am always happy with Allen's. The go-to for our meats and sometimes we even fill up our tanks because they also sell gas. What a...
