It’s a shame the employees are amazing and can only do so much! However the lady at customer care corporate office was so rude , condescending tone and turned it around on me which I find so unprofessional! Now this explains the 2.5 overall rating wise has. I went shopping and when I got to register to use my Apple Pay the system was down. Not really that big of a deal until I found out this has been ongoing for months and is company wide. Again employees were great handling the situation the lady at corporate NOT at all. She told me that they don’t post signs and customers get notified at the register. I said okay so I go shopping fill my cart and then find out your system has issue! She said that not what I said but yes it’s exactly what was stated by you. She then says if there was an issue I would be aware of it and I’m not that the store should follow the proper channels and notify us. They have not so there’s no issue so you want your employees to contact you to let you know that there’s a company wide issue ????    Read moreMy concern is the way the situation was handled in regards to a delivery order. You use a third-party company(Shipt) that doesn't take the responsibility of fault that are made. We normally used instacart but my mother wanted to take advantage of the sales that you had; so I created an account for your store. I am always in store number #287 and they know me and I know them, but today was not #287 but store #45 our delivery was placed in someone else's home and it took over 8 hours to get it resolved. We never received the groceries. Most delivery companies that we use ,either give you an email receipt to show delivery confirmation or a photo of where the product has been delivered.Amazon,Instacart, Safeway & Peapod do this; your store with your third party company(Shipt) did not and it cost your store $175.00 I am a business owner myself and if I had to cough up loss of $175.00 of free groceries no matter how my accountant adjusted numbers on my p&l I would be highly upset.    Read moreI called Weis on Robinson St in Binghamton about getting our annual Turkeys for our employees on 11/17/21. I spoke to Jeff who said he could not wholesale them but I cold come and and get the 20 Turkey's out of the case. When I got there I went to the case and it had a sign only 2 per customer. So I went to the meat counter and spoke to a young kid whose name escapes me. I told him about my call the day before. He got Jeff who said "I spoke to her and told her she could come in, he also said she comes in for Turkeys and hams at Christmas". A younger woman came over and he told her what he told me "I could get them" and she said NOPE she can't I don't care what he told you. There is nothing worse than a younger person being rude and sarcastic to a customer and an employee!! I understand they are saying there is a shortage but they had plenty of Turkeys. She told me to buy Weis cards and the employees could come in themselves. Not satisfied at all!! I bought Visa gift cards that way they do not have tog o to WEIS.
