My sister and I walked in ready to enjoy...and we did. The market has cool, eclectic ideas for the home. I found a cute grouping of five birds and after we enjoyed the entire store I went to pay for my item. We had a nice conversation; I gave $20.01 for a $15.16 charge and received $3.15 change. Not a big deal...people make mistakes. (We were focused on the coins...he still shorted me a dollar) The item was placed in a bag...not wrapped...no receipt...kept the tag for inventory. Here's the kicker...After driving away, my sister takes the birds out and remarks how cute they are and notices a tail is missing on one of the birds. I drive directly back (20 minutes max), show the clerk/owner and he says: "I inspect everything before I bag it. I will replace it but It was not like this when you left." WHAT, WHAT??? Stopped in to this cute shop today. Great visual presentation as soon as you walk in. A wonderful scented candle burning that they sell to welcome you into their store. They have unusual decor pieces for any style home, fun lamps, vases and floral pieces to make arrangements. They also carry quite an array of signs for the lake, purses and tables, that would make great gift items or buying something for your home. This is on the quite side of Lake of the Ozarks and such a welcome addition to have a great store in Sunrise Beach. I will certainly make a point to stop and shop...

I discovered this store when I was staying at our lake house in October. There were so many cute items to view. I really appreciate that there is a room specially dedicated to local artists! While I was there, I saw a Christmas tree decorated with bark-like ribbons cascading from the top of the tree and accented white lights.
