The Littlest Chocolatier — Local services in Sunrise Beach

I was really surprised by the immense variety of items and offerings at a place with the simple name, The Littlest Chocolatier! The atmosphere was warm and the owners welcomed me in.

Much more than a gourmet cholocate shop, it also features a coffee and tea bar, and unique gifts abound at reasonable prices! I have not tried the chocolate yet, but I'm marking my calendar because it looks delectable. (See pics.)

In addition, the selection of antiques is extensive and thoughtfully arranged on 3 floors!

This is such a gem of a place! Delicious, small-batch chocolates + coffee spot + antique and gift shop, all-in-one! We stopped in to grab some caffeine after a long drive from Kansas City on our way to our lake rental, and ended up staying for over an hour. The owners, Curt and Joan, are so friendly and have created the perfect place to meet the locals and stay a while. Our toddler enjoyed exploring and finding new treasures around every corner, like the train set and airplane mobiles. If you're visiting Lake of the Ozarks area, located right on Highway 5 in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, put this on your list of places you must visit. You will not be disappointed. The Best Coffee Shop Around, the Best Selection of Chocolate Treats, and in my opinion, a Museum Quality of Antiques. Antique items are even available for purchase if you like. Plan on spending at least a 1/2 hour after purchasing one of many types of non-alcohol beverages, and/or Chocolate Treats .
