I had my first pointe shoe fitting recently and I really feel that I have the right shoe for me. I loved Michelle's personality and her ability to easily throw information at me without glancing at a paper or screen. She took my opinion into consideration when trying a variety of shoes and payed attention to what was supportive and comfortable for me. I ended up taking home the most supportive and comfortable shoe. The prices are pretty high, but that is expected at any local pointe shop. That just means that the pointe shoes are not cheap and are well made. They are also costly because pointe shoes are made by hand and take a person's time to craft. They are not made by the fitter, rather made by brands like Bloch and Capezio. They also carry soooooo many cute leotards, leg warmers, necessary hair pieces, gels, perfumes, and bath soaks for dancers, and must-have accesories! I...

Extremely positive experience working with Michelle. Our daughter's foot is very narrow and thin and difficult to fit. At multiple other shops, they would try to fit her into something that they had in stock that her teachers felt was not at all a good fit. Michelle is knowledgeable and listens and troubleshoots problems. She is now in a pointe shoe that is comfortable and she dances very well in. Once we knew this shoe was a good fit we were in a rush to get two additional pairs in time for Nutcracker but Michelle worked with us and we paid the shipping fee to have them shipped to our home and this saved us so much time and stress. I had the pleasure of getting fitted for my first pair of pointe shoes by Michelle, the owner, a few days ago. Both of the ladies in the store were so sweet and Michelle's personality made me feel immediately at ease. I was in love with the decor and sitting areas they had there. Even the fitting rooms were cute! They have a reasonable selection of leotards and skirts, undergarments, etc. Fabulous rewards program as well.
