JBC GOLF CARTS — Local services in Surrey Township

Took my club car ds to the place we purchased & after a rebuilt 48v motor and a reman controller & $752.00 later, it move at half pedal and at full pedal, it'd shutdown like you turned the key off. Took it to JBC only to find the reman controller was bad even after I was told my batteries were the problem at 7 yrs old. They replaced the controller and called the next day it was ready to go. Now even with those batteries, it goes & runs strong and torque, sometimes barely breaking the tire loose. My . ew gasser will likely be bought there.

1 yr later, this poj only runs when it want. Call only hear, BATTERIES ARE OLD, BATTERIES ARE DIRTY & BAD TO WRONG CABLES. What's real B.S., ITS THE SAME B.S. I GOT A YR AGO. Done volt check & reading on the acid to determine condition of cells in each battery, they were good. It ended up being the controller box as I said which was a rebuilt controller from Titans in linwood. They replaced it and I'm beginning to think it was a used controller from one their junk carts out back and charged for new. Same symptoms as before & same b.s. again. You can b.s. an idiot that don't know squat, but after 13 yrs in the army as a mechanic working with 24 volts which is basically the same except for 2 more batteries in a series parallel. So whatever warranty there is, to hell with going back to here more b.s., batteries and cables and dirty........ PRETTY SAD GOING 100 MILES AWAY TO ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP AND HEAR BAD STORIES AND BAD REPUTATION THAT THEY SUCK FOR REPAIR AS WELL AS TITANS, BUT NOT AS BAD !!!!!!!! HAD A SCAN DONE ON THE CONTROLLER THEY INSTALLED & FOUND 8 BAD CODES, & HAD THEM ERASED AND HASNT FAILED YET WITH THE 8 YR OLD TROJAN BATTERIES & DIRTY...

Our family was in the market for a used golf cart for a while. I had been following several companies, trying to decided which one would be the right fit for us. This spring, we decided on JBC based on their pricing, design abilities and other reviews. I contacted JBC on a Sunday, not thinking they would respond right away, but to my surprise, I got a quick response back from Justin (within minutes). We chatted for a while and I outlined my price-range and what I was looking for. After about an hour, we had the whole thing wrapped up and ordered. Justin was great and helped me through all my requests and provided me with great information. Three weeks later we were able to pick up our family's first cart! Pick up was quick and it turned out perfect, all the way down to the custom black paint! It was definitely worth the two-hour drive to their location. Sometimes you have to travel a greater distance for exceptional service, and I'm definitely glad I did. Update: So after buying this golf cart last year and only getting to drive it a few weeks before going back in the shop, for JBC to tell us nothing was wrong with it. Then fixing it myself to get it running just barely. Then having to take it in this year again not even driving it a day after winter storage, dropping over $650 this year, it is still not running correctly. This was supposed to be a certified used golf cart, that I dropped a load of money on. This golf cart should be running great.

After getting the golf cart back this time, it still was not running correctly, it is sputtering, has no power to go, and backfires when accelerating. So I had a mechanic friend look at it, just to find out that the belt is bad, the pins are not good, it needs a new fuel filter, it needs new spark plugs, and oil changed. That is just what we have discovered so far. All of this is how it came supposed to be certified. I am not happy right now.
