Dollar General — Local services in Surry

I tell you you get what you pay for. they are nice and knowledgeable about what they have but most of the time when I buy something it's broke or shabby by the first week after buying it. I bought rags that were from Pakistan a couple of weeks ago that made the water look like blueberries for 3 days. Even after I had to go and cure the rags myself so the dye wouldn't keep coming out it still did. Their picture frames always have the backs to fall off. Like I said you get what you pay for. The newly remodeled Dollar general store in Surry is so much nicer although the size is the same the layout makes it appear to be bigger so it is much better and seems to carry more items and nicer items than before . This store is usually crowded but on the day that I was there Tuesday for a change it wasn't .The self checkout lane is a definite plus and the employees are helpful...

The phone is never ever working...I have called so many times and so have my friends ..and the phones just ring..I even called while in store and no one asked...I spoke to store clerk and she said phone is broke and has been broken for over a year..
