Family Dollar — Local services in Surry

On friday July 18th between 0910 and 0915 i went to this store and wanted to purchase fliflops for the family. Im not sure why but a pair of pink flip flops I was attempting to purchase for my daughter, didnt ring up the employee then took the flip flops and threw them on top of the trash can with no explanation as to what was happening or why. So I asked and she said they're not ringing up. I asked if I could get another pair or if she could do.it manually and she said no she'd have to pull them all. I wanted to try anyways and she did the same thing scanned it and threw on top of the trash can. Then she provided a snippy remark. Its pretty sad to see this kind of behavior as where a simple explanation probably would of sufficed. Instead I left empty handed and having to shop else where. I have had this particular issue with this store employee and only this store particular store employee. Like a lint roller that this store employee did the same thing for back in December. A little bit of professionalism and a better attitude could go a long way in these situations unfortunately the employee did not exhibit...
