I went here with high hopes. Overall, the reviews seem to be good, and when I see reviews on Google, I usually take them with a grain of salt because everyone likes things differently and has different experiences at places. I just moved here at the very end of June and used to board my dog all the time when I lived in Beaufort and sent her to doggie daycare almost every day. I brought her vet records and set up a time to board her for one night last weekend. The guy who worked there asked me if I wanted any services or a bath or anything for her, and I set up to have a deshedding bath done. I moved her pick up time to be later in the day to make it easier for them to get the bath done. When I dropped her off that Saturday, I confirmed that she was just staying that night, the bath the next day, and the pick up time. I dropped off food for her and a blanket and toy for her to sleep with.

When I went to pick her up the next day, the girl said that there was a note on her receipt that she wasn't supposed to be picked up until the following Tuesday, and of course, the bath also never got done. The girl gave me my dogs stuff but handed it to me separately so I'm trying to put the stuff back in the bag as she lets my dog out into the waiting area and doesn't put her on the leash. My dog is really nice but she was going up to everyone there, and I don't just let her go up to people unless they want her to or want to pet her. The girl also makes some snotty comment about how much my dog sheds. First off, you work at a dog kennel, do you seriously think that you won't get dog hair all over you and two, yeah, she sheds a lot, which is why I scheduled a deshedding bath that you guys didn't do. Then, the girl is asking if I brought a leash which was right behind her and matched my dog's collar. As I'm trying to grab my dog and put the stuff in the bag so that I can leave, the girl hands me the leash and makes no effort to help me, just watches me struggling doing this. One of the girls waiting there to pick up her dog ended up helping me. I got home, and I saw that no food was gone from the bag. So my dog either didn't eat the whole time (which is unlikely), or they just fed her whatever food they wanted to instead of the grain free food I sent. Additionally, I took her out when I got home and she about pooped and peed right on top of where I let her out of the car because she had to go to badly. I have no idea when the last time was that they took her out, but it had to of been a long time because my dog takes forever to go to the bathroom when I take her out. She sniffs every inch of the ground and this time, she could barely even hold it because she had to go so bad.

DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE!!!! They are left in their cages at nighttime from 6:30 PM until someone comes in to relieve them in the AM (7ish). 12 HOURS of being caged and not having anywhere to relieve themselves. Caretakers I met with (Chaz and nice young lady) admitted that this was a bad set up and that there was nothing they can do. Dogs bedding had been saturated in urine and they both have upper respiratory infections. I had used this place based on recommendations from friends. Well they are all witnessing how changed my 11 months old dogs are after I left them there for 7 days. Absolutely horrible. Witnessing dogs being yelled at by a worker (Justin) there when I picked them up as well as one of my dogs cowering down when he approached us outside with the rest of our items. WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY PUPPIES????? One of our males was afraid of human daddy the first few hours after being home!! Very SAD!!!!

I have left several messages for the owner to call me before I posted anything negative to get this resolved however there has never been a call back. THEY HAVE A "F" RATING WITH THE BBB which tells me that they don't care!!! I have tried remaining proactive and have called every morning since Tuesday. ALSO BE AWARE THAT YOUR DOGS ARE NOT SAFE!!! There is not an attendant there every night like I was told. Just caged dogs scared and alone!!!!! USE ANY SERVICE THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I didn't like what I witnessed and my VET'S evaluation of the state my dogs are now in validated exactly how I was feeling. Skyler has reassured me they are changing to make things better. I called again this morning and spoke to Skyler who told me that the owner wanted me to email him to forward to the owner. Also said that everyone knows the way they board the dogs at this facility. I have spoken to the friends of mine that referred me and they certainly didn't know that and also agreed that it was not ok. At this point I'm assuming that the owner has no idea of how bad the conditions are at the Ranch. Hopefully this post will reach him.

I was trying to find a groomer that would allow my dog to play all day while I'm at work. I came across a listing for this establishment and figured I'd give them a try. We have a 6 month old schnauzer and I'm very particular about the way we want his hair cut. The first time I made an appointment I got called 25 minutes ahead and told that the groomer would not be there and that I would need to reschedule. This was a little bit of an inconvenience since I took the day off to do this and I could not take another day off. I made arrangements to drop them off at seven and pick him up before six but ask that the groomer call me before she cut his hair. After not hearing anything from the time I dropped him off till 1230 in the afternoon I called back and asked if she even came in they told me yes and that Shaggy has been cut and was in the drying stage. This upset me I told him that I hope his hair was cut the way I liked it and when I pick them up it was not they knocked $5 off and offered to let her touch his hair up on another day. 7 days later they were able to do such and I still am not satisfied with his haircut. I will never bring my dog back there for grooming again and I will never recommend them to anybody. If I was able to give them no stars I would have. If anybody has a suggestion for a better groomer for a Schnauzer let me know please. So far the best one I can find is...
