They were very considerate of my property. Brought their own rug to put at the door. Used covers on their shoes. I had two people, as David was training a young man. So far so good. My only problem is the cost. So it was $135 just to come out to tell me what I thought was wrong. If you don't want them to repair it you pay the $135. If you want them to fix it they "waive" the diagnostic fee. Well, it still cost me $224 and that was with NO PARTS and a coupon!!! If David was working by himself he could have had it done in less than 30 minutes. That is a lot of money for a maybe 30 minute fix. It took longer as he let the young man do the fix. It was a plugged line for the ice/water that was causing water to back up and freeze on my freezer side. I had defrosted it twice. I just needed to figure out how to get to the line. (I am a stay at home mom and like to learn)
I mean no disrespect. They were nice and I am greatful. They also don't make appliance like they use to. To many extras means more repairs!!!! I just have ice and water on the front. So keep your appliance simple or you will be looking at a much bigger repair bill!!
**Also, please note since no parts were needed I only have a "30" day warranty. If I would have needed a part, I would have received a "year"...
Read moreWe hired Mr. Appliance to repair our washing machine, but the experience was highly disappointing and unprofessional. During the initial visit, they performed a diagnostic and informed us that the control panel was faulty. They ordered the part, charged us $540, and scheduled a return visit for the installation. Less than two weeks later, a technician and a trainee arrived. The technician remained in the van while the trainee attempted the repair. After nearly three hours, during which my husband repeatedly asked for updates, the trainee finally admitted that an additional part was needed, and that the repair would now cost an extra $500. My husband spoke with a manager, who gave vague responses and promised to follow up the next morning to resolve the issue. That call never came. Despite multiple follow-up attempts and assurances that a manager would get back to us, we never received a return call. In the end, we were offered a mere $100 refund as a courtesy, a gesture that falls far short of addressing the poor service and lack of accountability we experienced. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. Their customer service is lacking, and their approach to problem-solving is both dismissive and...
Read moreAmerican home shield contracted them to look at my microwave and washer. Originally they refused to perform the work until I had American home shield send a dispatch for each appliance. That shouldn't fall on me to call AHS, someone from this company should stop being lazy and arrange that since that’s their requirement. They are getting paid for this.
Anyways, I got a second dispatch. They could not give a full reason what was wrong with the washer and ordered a part for the microwave. Their repair did not work. They closed the job out so I had to call AHS. I did not get a call for a week. I called and Mr appliance said they sent the repair back since they are too busy now but no one could call me? Also, since they didn’t fix it right the first time why should I be inconvenienced to get someone else and wait longer? Due to all this company’s incompetence and delays, it’s been over a month and what should be an easy job is not complete and I am still out a microwave.
Also, AHS said mr appliance closed out this job as complete and did not send it back to get reassigned thus the delay and AHS not knowing there is still an issue. I see a lot of high reviews but I am not...
