I really genuinely will give this a 0 star. As a professional truck driver i got loaded up finally i moved out my dock to slide my tandems back an grab my bols and head out to Tolleson Az. As i was setting my tandems, i got out & i recognized the yard dog Charlie at the time 03/29/23 17:00 was parked behind me for a long period of time. He finally continued moving trailers & i parked my truck in another dock that was vacant thinking i will go in the office real quick & be gone but that wasnt the case. The office lady Nichole at the time got real hostile against me for parking in the dock to a point were i had to evacuate and made me feel uncomfortable and as if i was actually doing something super wrong, the told me to move my truck before i can get my bols so i did, upon coming out i see the yard dog right there throwing his hands up shaking his head with a attitude also. Let me remind u this is my first time coming here to US Cold Storage so i dont know they procedure as others who been here before but i was talking to the yard dog i ask him this was my first time here were do everybody normally park he told me call my dispatcher and find out, he never told me if the previous spot i was parking in was ok or not so i assumed it was so i parked and walked out to grab my bols. When i was trying to move the yard dog was super aggressive parked in front of me so i couldnt move to just walk in the office an try an say or do what ever. But these 2 individuals was super rude to me and i would never want to come here again if i have to experience what i went through. Instead if trying to help me he/they were being demanding & super rude & unprofessional & no body had to put up with this...

I'll give this place 3 out of 5 stars based on other reviews about the friendly staff, clean facilities, and having lots of room to maneuver. As for WASTING DRIVERS TIME, I can agree with many of the reviews stating that fact. To avoid conflict with the broker who sent me in here, I won't post their name. However, if you know that drivers will lose time here, why in the world are you going to schedule a late afternoon appointment vs. having one set for the early morning??? Arrived at 1pm for a 430pm appointment, the guard was kind and allowed me on-site to park. Got the call at 408pm with the door assignment, but they didn't start to load the trailer until 627pm... currently 826pm and still have a red light at the door as I'm writing my review. Who knows when I will be loaded & leaving this place? So, my fellow truckers, our experiences at US Cold Storage may vary. Based on many reviews, you will LOSE a lot of TIME off that government mandatory black box at this place...and to you brokers out there, PLEASE use a little common sense when you schedule an appointment time for us drivers, whether company or owner operator, it WOULD NOT HURT YOU TO EXPAND YOUR TIMES OUT DEPENDING ON THE SHIPMENT TIMEFRAME TO HELP OFFSET OUR LOST TIME TAKEN AWAY FROM OUR ELD CLOCKS. Drivers steer clear from this place! They do not give you a set temperature for their load until you get there. They make you go to the street . Then charge you a late fee even when your on time! My appointment was 8:30am I got there at 8:15am the security guard told me to set my reefer to 20 and come back when it reaches 15! I waited for four hours and realized something was not right! I called them and asked them about the reefer set point the clerk said it supposed to be set at -20 not 20 . I explained to her that I was told by their security to set it at 20 they said okay we will see what we can do! An hour later I check in again ! The clerk said well you were late so it’s going to be a fee of $285.00 and we are not going to load you until it’s paid! I explained to here that I was given I was not late at all it’s literally a scam ! After I paid the fee I got put into a door! Hours went past still waiting to get loaded ! First shift left without loading me ! It is currently 6:21pm her and guess what they still have not even started to load me I have been here for 10 hours ! And I’m still waiting for them...
