This review is based solely on observations I've made regarding this company's delivery service. I presume this delivery service is directly affiliated because they arrived to a neighbor's house one day driving white trucks with this company's logo on the doors.
I'm not a professional mover or furniture delivery professional, but I believe I can see careless disregard for whatever it is being moved or delivered. I saw,
-. An individual carrying an entire three-seat couch on his HEAD after two other individuals helped him get the middle of the couch centered above his head. I've never seen anything like it. The guy carrying the couch gets 5-stars for being quite the show, but I wouldn't want to have furniture, or even leased furniture I'm going to use for a short period of time, to be handled this way before I even get to sit in it myself. -. All items being handled with blatant disregard for their condition. In one case, I witnessed lamps, minus their lampshades, being knocked against each other like bowling pins while an individual, already carrying a box, tried to wedge two of them under his armpits. He only managed to get one lamp clamped beneath his armpit for the trip into the apartment, in case you were wondering.
At this point, I was inspired to write this review. Partly as a service to myself; i.e. a note NOT to use this company's delivery service at the least. And partly as a service to the community; i.e. letting others who may choose to use Southern Furniture Leasing's delivery services to please consider using -professional- movers...
Read moreI had a terrible experience dealing with this company for the removal of my boss’s rental furniture. Driver didn’t call ahead and I was told they were going to leave because they couldn’t wait to get into the building. Mind you I was 10 minutes away- and they never called me to tell me they were on the way. When I talked to a lady at their office, I was told that it was MY PROBLEM, and they don’t do call aheads. Even though when they dropped off the furniture they called ahead and were told to by paysmart. The driver just didn’t do it and did not call paysmart either. Usually companies try to resolve issues- rather than just throw their hands up in the air and blame you for their driver’s terrible communication. Completely unprofessional office staff to handle these phone calls. I was met with rudeness and was just yelled at. I would give zero stars if I could. Has to be a terrible place if that’s the employees you have handling customer service phone calls. Very scary to have that kind of morale in an office! Use any other furniture rental company rather than this one. Save yourself the headache and from dealing with the short tempered employees...

Who ever he is Management for the dock or office he works coming to the truck stop knocking on my door yelling n cursing at me about delivery! Also when I arrived at the location continuously yelling n cursing at me disrespecting me! I'll never stand for it!
