Boardwalk Apartments — Local services in Tampa

Look around before getting trapped here for 1 year like I did. Like the other reviwers stated this place has little consideration for its tenants. The area is not that great to begin with and this place doesn't help the situation much either. Ex. Driving in from work one day there were kids spray painting graffiti on the apartment walls.

Things within the apartments are terribly dated and are always breaking. This would not be a problem with timely maintence, but there is no timely maintence so things stay broken for extended periods of time. The leasing people are also very unhelpful, forgetful and uncaring. There are numerous times I have called them and put in request for them to say you never called me and I will get around to it.

Take it from people that have lived here. Stay Away! There are other places...

Okay, so I'm not one to typically leave bad reviews of any kind, but this is ridiculous and I feel obligated to warn people that are considering moving here. I got back to my apartment at around 4:30 yesterday and discovered some sort of leak that soaked around a quarter of my bedroom floor. 6 emergency maintenance requests and almost 24 hours later over 3/4 of my room is completely saturated and I have yet to hear from the maintenance people! Not to mention the leak has spread out of my room and I to the living room. I'm so done with this apartment complex. If you plan on moving here, be prepared to have to be making a lot of maintenance requests that take forever and a day to...

Best place I've found in the Tampa area for under 900/mo. Bug free and on top of their extermination. By far the cleanest apartment I've ever moved in to. Complex is quiet, except for the summer when there are camps running in the park next door. I feel very safe in here and the neighbors seem friendly. Cars won't get towed in visitors spots. No kids causing vandalism (in fact, there are very few kids that even live here). Maintenance could be more time efficient and they don't really care about the minor problems, which is why I give 4 stars. Haven't had any other problems...
