Visited this place about 4 times since I come to tampa quite often and this particular Taco Bell is close to my house the food is JUST OKAY but remember this is MY opinion I am sure that everyone will have similar experiences and also some better than others but this is based off of MY experience I am in no way trying to discredit this establishment but the truth needs to be told upon walking into the place I noticed that it was extremley cleam IMACULATLEY CLEAN however the front door had a big clear bag of trash sitting directly in front of the door that was leaking a liquid substance upon walking in we were greeted by a young girl who seemed very nervous and told us that there would be a 15-20 minute wait because they were short staffed, there was ONE car in the drive thru and about 7 people inside sitting down I told her I went to Culinary School and also have worked in the restaurant and fast food insustry since I was 18 so I didn't mind at all waiting onw woman who I guess was the manager or just another worker had an attitude as she walked through the store with an agry /annoyed look on her face we got our food in a decent time and went to sit down but realized that I had gotten a SOFT TACO SUPREME instead of the burrito that I ordered and my partner recieved a VERY flat sad looking "Burrito" that was folded so abstract it looked as if someone just said screw it and wrapped it however I found this both upsettign and comical to work at a place such as this ytet not have the simple skills to properly wrap a burrito... I then took our food back to the counter to have it remade properly and the correct order which wasn't a problem the manager seemed extremley frustrated when I returned the food but it was remade the proper way which I really appreciate, The soda machine does NOT have a grate only a deep well that ice falls in I decided to get water and the water came out discolored and and had a brown tint/sweet taste to it so I ddint have any thing to drink makes me wonder if this place even sanitizes their equiptment each and every time I visit this place they JUST can not seem to make anything correct I will not be back sorry the Taco Bell on Busch Blvd is a 5 star establishment I will continue my business...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYou know, this food is really good. I just can not fathom that this āfast foodā place takes more than 30 minutes on a Friday night to just get to the intercom to order my food. Itās sad that the place looses so much business more than likely because they are either understaffed or just donāt care or both! While sitting here, I observed 5 different cars get out of line and leave. If I was not waiting for dinner and buying myself lunch for the next day, I would have done the same. Really wish that Taco Bell would get it together since this is the only one by my house.
01/13/2021: Adding to my review. It seems this Taco bell is always having issues with their equipment. I had forgotten that I did a review previously on this place until I came in here to do this review. Lately it seems like I can only order food in general about 1 in 5 times that I go through there. The problem is with my work as I am sure a lot of you can understand it is hard for me to find good prepared food late at night. So the choices are really limited. Either McDonaldās, Taco Bell or Burger King. So when I choose this place and I normally do because I favor their food over burgers and fries. So lately either the fryer is not working and most of the menu items are not available, the store had to close because a crew member did not come to work, the store was out of taco meat and chicken meat so they only had vegetarian and steak items, they had no change so I had to over pay by like $.60. There have been other excuses on things and so forth and one might wonder why I keep going back but itās a simple matter of convenience. I have reached out to their corporate office and hear nothing back on multiple occasions and it seems that this store is simply mismanaged. I used to be a fast food manager at a local restaurant some years ago and I can personally tell you that it can be made to work if you want but it seems there is a lack of motivation at this place. One time we ran out of tomatos. I was a shift manager, I went with money from the cash register to a local store and picked up some tomatos and we sliced them to avoid telling customers we had no tomatos. Itās been over a year since Iāve been to this Taco Bell and the SERVICE STILL SUCKS! If you want great customer service, please go to another Taco Bell. I demand you do not go to this location! On 5/8/18 at 7:35pm, I drove up to the drive through and I can hear the conversation of the girl not a lady talking and laughing with the staff. Then she tells me that she is waiting for my order! What will be nice from this girl is a greeting or a welcome even an acknowledgement that she is ready to take my order. I guess she was done laughing and having fun with her co-workers. Then I get to the pickup window and this little kid who is laughing and exchanging foul language to the other employee who cannot speak clearly. All I can hear is sauce, I figured he was not talking to me. I said, excuse me and proceed to say the amount of the order. This Kid hands me my order in a bag without asking if I wanted some sauce. When I asked him is there any sauce in the bag he said, you didnāt say anything about the sauce. Hello Kid! You need to offer the different types of sauces, I guess he expects me to stick my head in the window and grab the taco sauce myself. Iāve trained customer over 30 years, this Taco Bell location needs a lot of work!!!!!! I got home and called the restaurant to get the Managerās name and then name of the young kid at the window and he wouldnāt give me the names. But I found a way to get the Manager on Duties name and he or she name is Chris. I hope that someone from Taco Bell trains this location to serve the best in Customer Service.
