They honestly do not even deserve one star. VERY SHADY. Pushy con artists. They do not take telephone calls - have a message that tells you to contact them at the email address on your invoice (something I did not get) or go in to see them in person. They make it extremely difficult to contact them. I very stupidly allowed myself into being conned into paying a deposit to hold some furniture that I was interested in. I will lose that deposit - an expensive lesson, but at least that is all I will lose to them. THEY DO NOT DELIVER. When I am paying that much for furniture, the company should at least deliver. They only offered to give me the names and numbers of a few moving companies they had worked with, or to rent me their trailer for $40 per day. I should not have to hire and pay a moving company to deliver the new furniture I was going to buy, nor should I have to pay them to rent their trailer and move it myself. Had I not tried to contact them with a simple question about the furniture that I was interested in, I may very likely have made a horrible mistake by actually doing business with them. They make it almost impossible to contact them - EXTREMELY SHADY! That certainly indicates to me that IF I were to have purchased furniture from them, and had any sort of problems or issues, their Customer Service would have been non-existent as far as correcting those issues. An honest business does not make it almost impossible to contact them. It is not easy for everyone to just go drop in. I work six days a week - it is almost impossible for me to go in. They really tried pushing financing thru them. I was not interested in financing. When I stupidly left a deposit, I was told that since I was paying cash I would get the floor displays. When I'm paying that much, I would like to get brand new - not been sampled by who knows how many people - merchandise. I was regretting and having second thoughts about leaving a deposit to hold before I even got home that evening. But I only have myself to blame for being stupid enough to get conned like that. I can only recommend to everyone out there to avoid this...
   Read moreSo I bought a king size bed and decided I wanted the matching dresser and night stand. I looked at the magazine and chose the night stand with the mirror instead of the tall dresser. I paid for both dresser and a night stand. I received the dresser next morning. When I moved into my new house and pulled the dresser out of the box I set aside the installation screws and manual for the mirror. I called to see when I would be able to pick up my mirror and night stand. I called for about 3 days with no answer. No answering machine to leave a message so I asked my mother to go down to hudsons to see if they would call me. The girl at the front desk said that the owners were out of town and instructed her not to answer the phone. My mother left my number. I recieved a call from the owner saying your night stand is here but the mirror isn't included with the dresser. I said your joking I spent quite a few hundred dollars for that dresser and it comes with the screws to install the mirror. Then he proceeds to tell me that it's just in there because the mirror comes separate and they leave the instructions with the dresser that if I wanted to buy the mirror it would cost me an additional 300$. If something comes seperate they wouldnt put the parts with another item. Mirror would come with its installation screws ect..... He wasn't very polite when I said so a 6 drawer dresser is 900$ he replied saying well if I'm not correct you got a great deal didn't you. I eventually gave up because I don't think my dresser should have cost as much as my king size bed especially not coming how the picture shows. When I order an item and say I'll take the dresser with the mirror maybe you should include the price with the mirror or clarify the mirror comes separate. I am beyond upset how I was treated as well as the "miscommunication" I went to the site they purchase their funiture to find that they up mark the price so high that when they say your getting 50% off your actually still paying much much more than they paid for them.

   Read moreThis is the most unbelievably horrible store possible. Do not even go into this store, do not consider shopping at this store. they are the absolute worst. Ordered furniture, did not receive the furniture after nearly 8 months. They will have no information for you, period. The best indication of where our order was when the told us "they cannot check on the status of our furniture, it is literally coming here on a slow boat from China". They will tell you that they are having phone problems, and the problem is that they will not answer nor call you regarding your order. All is done by email or personal visit to the store. They actually informed us, after we had paid in full, that our furniture wouldn't be shipped for over 5 months. When 5 months got here it was going to be 4 more, they think but not sure, could be longer. One worker behind the counter actually told us that the owners/managers (not sure which) told her not to answer the phone. We finally cancelled our order so we were charged a restocking fee for furniture that is on some slow boat from China that was never made it to the store. At one point they comment that the furniture that we had coming was so popular that they just couldn't keep it in stock. So why charge us a restocking fee for furniture that they didn't have to stock in the first place and that is going to sell right away anyway. Bad business. yes I am upset. Here's the test, ask for the phone number to call to check on the status of your order. When they say that they will email you and that they are having phone issues, RUN. What reputable business doesn't have a phone. BS. We were hoping to shop local and that is why we went there but did not work out.
