After my first good visit I had 2 more terrible visits. I told the lady (different girl from the first visit) to do EXACTLY what the last girl did except lighter color she ended up doing a color correction even though I never asked for that so so I ended up paying 260 for a job I thought was gonna be 140 and my hair looks THE SAME except my roots are a lighter color also I was in the chair for 3 hours just putting the dye in my hair!! Almost missed my son's bus so I had to leave early with my hair wet and I was still CHARGED for the blowdry. So that's ANNOYING. Then I came and got my lashes done and they fell off in clumps! They were all gone in 1 week! I talk to the owner about both experiences and she only refunded 40 for the hairdry I was charged for. And was made aware that if u are in the chair they won't tell u if they are giving you a treatment that cost extra cus they dont want to insult you or how the owner called it "they don't want to penny and dime u" I don't know about you but if I'm getting something in my hair that cost 40 extra I expect to be aware of that. I normally go to the same spot for my pedicures but decided to give this place a try instead. 2 stars instead of 1 just because, it is beautiful inside and they still attended me although they don't usually do walk-ins which was appreciated. However, for the actual pedicure, I know I could’ve done a far more superior and precise pedicure on myself for free. I believe the name was Livie, but some toenails were not completely painted sidewall to sidewall, while some had polish on the cuticle, and a few with top coat all over the cuticles. Stella Salon and Spa exemplifies professionalism and care. Ashley is a stylist I have trusted since before she worked there and I am happy to make the two hour round trip to have such a dedicated, talented and trustworthy stylist. The salon itself has such a warm and cozy atmosphere and the other stylists were happy to answer questions about services as well.
