Taylor Deli — Restaurant in Taylor

My husband, Jose and I are fairly frequent customers here. Last Friday my husband ordered for me a turkey club no mayonnaise no tomato and my husband ordered something for himself. The delivery guy comes to our door then realizes he grabbed the wrong food and had to leave and then come back so it took an hour for our food to arrive. When it arrived, the turkey club had mayonnaise on all three layers of bread and had tomato on it. I am allergic to eggs and I get extremely sick to my stomach when I consume egg products. We were unable to call them to inform them of this instance because by the time we got our food delivered they closed for the day. We attempted to call the following day but found out they were closed for a day of rest. Sunday they were also closed. Today, my husband called again and this took about ten attempts just to get through to a person and not the voicemail. He explained the situation that occurred last Friday informed them of the mistake and my food allergy. He made sure to explain again NO mayonnaise NO tomato and he ordered a special of the day for himself. Waited again an hour for delivery, and when the turkey club arrive lo and behold it AGAIN had mayonnaise on all 3 layers of bread, this time it didn’t have tomato OR lettuce. When my husband realized this, he attempted to call back but I think they took the phone off the hook as he called a minimum of 10 times and went straight to voicemail every single call. This will be the last time ever ordering food from here as the complete disregard for food allergies is absolutely despicable. And then to have the phone taken off the hook? That is why I’m resorting to writing...

The owner to this restaurant is extremely rude I do not know his name because he wouldn’t give it to me! I called and asked for a different container for my soup because when I kept them all the broth leaks through the paper container that was the biggest issue for them then after I tried to explain to the hostess why I wanted it that way she transferred me to the owner I was told and he was extremely rude got on the phone saying what can I help you with. With an attitude I explained it to him I also explained to her before that I was speaking loudly because I’m at work around a lot of forklift drivers they were very in accommodating and not understanding at all over all...

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. First pic was from a while ago when they served me raw potatoes in my breakfast wrap. Last three pics were from recently when they served my boyfriend an entire wrap of RAW chicken. They told me to go back there ( 5 mins before they closed ) if I wanted them to do something. I go back, and they proceeded to get into a screaming match with me insisting the chicken is “precooked” and comes frozen… 🧐doesn’t make sense to me. Then they harassed us through social media and by getting my bf’s FATHERS PHONE # to tell US to take down our posts. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE !!! NOT A SAFE OR STERILE PLACE FOR FOOD...
