If you are going to do the hike from the Interstate camp ground to Taylor's Falls, you might as well stop by and see the glacial potholes, but I dont think it's worth the money to pay to park in the parking lot just to see these. Park downtown and walk over if you dont have a Minnesota state pass. The glacial potholes are just what it sounds like. Two big holes full of water and algae that you see from behind a railing. If you are going to pay for a day pass just to park here, make the most of it and walk down past the potholes to see the cliffs and hike up on the river trail a ways. Taylor's falls is a small area, so there are only one or two things attractions to do here. Fun...

I went to this place in the last week of November so it wasn't as green and lush as I expected it to be but it was so beautiful. A lot of pre wedding shoots happen here and it's a popular spot for trails. I'd definitely recommend visiting this place in summer. It will be a beautiful outing for both your kids, friends or family. I also recommend trying out the small coffee shops around this area which are within a distance of 1 mile. They are super nice and decorated...

Beautiful and unique! I have spent hours walking/hiking through the area, and I will come again. The Glacial Potholes are right on the St. Croix river, and the area is spectacular. Adults and kids will enjoy this park! There are dozen's of glacial potholes, and there are signs/maps to guide you. Walkways and a slightly rugged terrain around the potholes. Small children will need to kept close. There is a smooth drive down to the river, but it isn't...

If you are going to Taylor’s Falls, don’t miss out this 1/2 mile or less trail. Kids/elders friendly. My 80-yr-old companion climbed the rock (see picture with the tree) and saw the St Criox River from a great vantage point. The hole in the rock that goes as deep as 60’ is pretty amazing. Look what glaciers through erosion can move sand and gravel to create these big holes in boulders!

A very unique place to visit. Near our campground, Wildwood, which is quiet and has many amenities. Only need to pay $7 per car for entry into park. Many spots for great photos. I only keep a few pics in my phone after they're all downloaded & edited into my laptop so sorry this is only a few.

This place is worth the stop. The views are amazing and the potholes and rock formations are impressive. We also did the two miles hike (one mile each way) in the forest by the river. It was beautiful and rocky, I recommend good shoes and mosquito repellent 😄
