Absolutely the best PET CARE place around ..EXCELLENT GROOMING !!with lots of CARE ..We had to put down our precious BABY and the staff and owner cried as we did over our lose...They sent flowers which was so touching that they REALLY CARE for ALL our precious BABIES.. will always wait for the great grooming..thanks GIRLS !!

NEWEST REVIEW updated !!! WE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND why no contact from Lake Wylie Pet Resort??.. new girls groomer were training and BROKE my 8 year old poodles TAIL.?? or it was dislocated?? I was so upset that NO ONE cared enough to ask why we havnt been back after over 6 years as completely very satisfied customer..... SORRY but I have always been so pleased with Tracy ...and worked with her schedule to get her to trim Tiger... not only was Tigers tale broke? or dislocated..HE HAS NEVER EVER in 8 years had a skin problem ... HE developed immediately after the same the grooming appointment with new training groomers ? possibly dirty CLIPPERS ??? TIGER got a HORRIBLE SKIN RASH..FUNGUS ?? $$ 650.00 later 2 rounds at VET and medicines..antibiotics...he now has no tail? problems with warts in the healed rash places..WHY NO ONE CALLED to tell me anything..I have felt so bad that training on Tiger's grooming could RUIN HIS TAIL..much less his SKIN ?? I do have to say ..I haven't complained until now but it's so so sad to have to tell Staff what a mess they made on...

I was very disappointed on two accounts: #1. This morning, March 19, 2025, while discussing how I wanted our dog to be groomed, I specifically said twice, “Please to do not cut Buddy’s tail.” My request was readily acknowledged with previous grooming details ‘in hand’ by an assistant and his tail was cut anyway!!! After the mistake was admitted, we were told with a smile that my instructions didn’t make it back to the groomer!!! #2. Up until this grooming visit, I was not aware that the full ‘spa’ treatment did not include gland expression. I was told that service would be an additional $10. When I received a call that our dog could be picked up, I specifically asked what the total fee amounted to so that a check could be written prior to arrival and was told $60, with no indication there was the additional $10 expression fee, bringing the total to $70. I am more than happy to pay for any type of services rendered, regardless of what or where. But today appeared to be a clear example of the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing with subsequent total check out confusion and disregarded ‘repeat’ customer instructions. There was no offer to adjust monies owed for their mistakes. Only a cheerful “See you next time”. Maybe I could understand if the front office was super busy with other clients during drop of and picking up. But nope….just...

I am compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience at Lake Wylie Pet Resort following the recent change in ownership. Since 2019, I entrusted my Goldendoodle's grooming and bathing needs to the previous owner, Tracy, and consistently received exceptional care and results. However, since the business was sold to the new owners in January 2025, my experiences have deteriorated drastically.

The haircut my dog received was nothing short of horrific; I genuinely believe that someone with no grooming experience could have produced better results. Upon picking up my dog, I was overwhelmed with disappointment and felt sick to my stomach when I saw how bad the grooming was.

To any potential customers who genuinely care about the well-being and appearance of their pets, I strongly advise exploring alternative options for grooming and bathing. This establishment, under the new ownership, has not only failed to meet basic grooming standards but has also compromised the quality of care that pets deserve. Proceed...
