I grew up shopping at the Mt. Mesa Market. I'm so glad they have remained a valued business in our valley. Fresh Produce, Outstanding Meat Dept and Deli. They make delicious pizza two ways: Hot & Take-n-Bake. They're deli sandwiches are so good. Phone ahead for faster service. Grocery staples available. Cold drinks! A variety of beer, wine and soft drinks. This hometown favorite also caters! They've provided deli meat & cheese platters, complete meals for large and small gatherings. Stopped in because I heard they had good sandwiches in my son wanted one of those. Apparently the sandwich was good and $12. I checked for my favorite ice cream, and it cost 60% more than I'm used to paying.

Maybe this is me being spoiled living down in Los Angeles. The place was clean and easy to get around. The shelves don't go up very high, so the amount of stock they were able to have would be half of what I'm used to in a store in Los Angeles.

Staff is semi- friendly. They do have an excellent deal to order fresh turkeys, ham, and prime rib during the holidays. Also, the guys at the deli counter are always pleasant, and they have barely getting old fruit/vegetable bags they sell for $1.00 you can't beat.
