Update: Shreded Beef is possibly the way to go. Also, the red sauce used seems to be a similar one used around all the resturants. Only thing is there's here is very salty. So I was very happy that I got it on the side. The Shredded Beef Chimichanga isn't bad. So came here after I couldn't stand the other Mexican restaurant in Lake Isabella, La Bikina. Came here, smelled about right for a Mexican joint.. Staff was great, the lady taking our order got flooded with more customers as soon as we ordered (yes, its my fault😢). She served us chips and salsa after we sat to wait. Sweet little spot and the beers were cold. Got home to eat, looked good from what I could see.. I ordered the Colorado burrito that what I thought was going to be a different style of cubed beef. It was more like asada and was very over seasoned 😥.. I still ate it. Had enough salt intake for the rest of the year. Ill definitely give this place another try. My wife ordered the Grande Burrito. Let me tell you, it was GRANDE for sure! It was the size of the entire takeout dish. Hers was shredded beef and wasn't really salty. The sauce on both burritos was pretty good.

I wanted to leave a good review until the food made me extremely sick. Ate a little at the restaurant and took the rest home because I immediately got a stomach ache. Didn't think it was from the food at first. Ate my leftovers an hour later after my stomach got better. While I was eating leftovers, I got sick again. Stomach ache came back and started vomiting. I had the steak picado, the meat was tender and it tasted great but definitely made me sick. The service was also quick and wonderful.

Small very friendly Mexican restaurant with lots of different dishes on their menu. Also serving vegetarian versions of enchiladas, fajitas, burritos and quesadillas. Fajita veggies looked cute in the little pan. Were a bit overcooked and overly soft if you ask me, and most of it lost their color so I wasn’t overly excited about it. Nice and local vibe here.

This our 'go to' for Mexican food. Love it all! Service is always great. Update 9/4/2024... As one who lives on Social Security, we don't eat out anymore. My son gave me money to go out to eat on my birthday, so was so excited to finally be able to go out, we went the evening before my actual 68th birthday and came here knowing we would be treated well and have good food or so I thought. We ordered a couple of Tostada Grandes ($14.95) and a couple drinks. My husband told one of the servers that we were here because it was my birthday and she requested to see my ID. After seeing that my birthday was actually the next day (9/5), she said okay and walked away. Then nothing. We finished our dinner and another server said they didn't have any birthday desserts left, which was okay, but it was only 6:30pm?. I would have paid for the dessert if there was a policy about only on birthday days, but no one said anything. Now feeling slighted, as they had just sang the birthday song to another table, we just left after paying. I don't think I will be back the next time I am lucky enough to go out to eat. They lost a customer tonight and a couple stars. Be...

We are camping and decided not to cook for the evening. We looked up nearest Mexican food restaurant and we are glad we did. When we arrived there was only one server working her tail off but owning it! She was very friendly. The tortilla chips were warm and the salsa (both mild and hot) was great. The grande burrito was huge and delicious (my husband ordered this) the steak picado was the best I have had. Our friends ordered the steak quesadilla and chicken enchiladas and had no complaints. I read the reviews for this place and it said it was a local favorite. We definitely see why. We left with happy and full stomachs and will definitely make this a must visit when we camp...
