Tell City Bowling Center — Local services in Tell City

I recently took my kids to a birthday party for their five year old cousin... I truly sympathize for the family who had deal with so much stuff ranging from gifts being accidentally taken by another group bc the parties were crammed together, to a promised table (they waited nearly a half hour for) being given away AS they were finally decorating it, to burnt pizza, drinks not being served (to a group of KIDS) until well after the food was eaten... I get things can't always run smoothly, stuff happens.. but what is UNACCEPTABLE is what happened next.. the host provided favor bags for the kids, each having a variety of items including silly string... evidently there is a unpublished rule that it is forbidden as we quickly found out when a lady rushed around the corner.. as she is in the PROCESS of saying "no silly string", my 6 year old happens to run by her, of course with it in her hand.. instead of simply saying "no" or "stop" etc, or giving u 2 seconds to direct them ourselves, she quickly GRABS my daughter, with both hands gripped tightly around her arm!!! This lady was the owner!! The host of our party made sure to contact the establishment afterward to complain for their experience and especially for the owner putting he hands on my CHILD, an instead of even offering an apology decided to argue with her...

The 5th of February was my birthday. My family n I enjoy bowling. Invited our friends, made reservations for a lane at 3pm for 7pm. Get there just before 7 to set up. They forgot, even tho we were on the list. No biggie. Was told it would be 30 minutes. No biggie? Everyone shows up. We order food to kill the time waiting. An hour later, we get our lane. That doesn't work. We get our shoes, still not working. Go try to fix it to No avail. So they said you can have 2 lanes. Cool. Needless to say, after an hour and 45 minutes later, still can't bowl. Was told we could just leave if not happy. And we weren't. And told we could get our money refunded. We were charged for 2 lanes at 12 games. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY IN THE PLACE! They don't care! I would've given zero stars...

Went with a group of friends for a night out and was very disappointed. Refused our service after 2 games because they were closing early, and the bartender- I think his name is Zach- made out with his girlfriend almost the whole time we were there. Employees acted like it was killing them anytime we asked for anything. I paid for a bunch of songs on the jukebox that we didn't even get to listen to because they didn't want to stay open for our business, and we weren't even warned that they were closing early....
