My husband and friends have been coming here for 26 years since they were Norwegians working locally for Alcoa. The food is consistently excellent. Lunch specials today Exceeded our expectations. Shrimp cocktail was gazpacho on steroids, almost a dozen shrimp served in a mild thick tomato sauce with avocado. I had the Cancun lunch special with grilled vegetables and chicken served over Spanish rice and covered with cheese. Top it off with chips and guacamole got the perfect lunch! Another visit, April 2023… In the mid-90’s my husband was in Kentucky working at an Alcoa company cross training workers from their Norwegian plant. One of his favorite places to eat was Fiesta Grande Mexican Restaurant. We always stop in when we are passing through the area for an excellent lunch. Javier, the restaurant’s owner and Mike developed a special friendship all those years ago. Almost 30 years later, Javier and his family continue to thrive with several restaurants. Their lunch menu is excellent, $7.50 for a small plate, I had a chicken chimichanga with salad, rice, and beans. Mike had his favorite a cold shrimp cocktail soup with avacado and cilantro. Javier, Jr wanted us to try his favorite soft tacos de elpastor with pork and pineapple topped with sweet onions and cilantro.

Food was good not the best Mexican I had before. Service was slow but they was trying so I gave points for that. I order Diet MTDew and they refilled with reg when I ask he answered yes its diet. lost respect for them not being open about charging a 3%service charge for credit/debt cards use until you are at checkout and I didnt see any ATM to get cash.

After hiking 8+ miles at Jeffery's Cliffs without any snacks packed, and every place on the Kentucky border being permanently closed or closed on Sunday, this place came in clutch. The chips kept coming and the Mexicana quesadilla was pretty good. Dinner for two under $30 (before tip) as well, which is rare.

We have been frequent customers to Fiesta Grande, and the Cantina Bar next door! You won't find a more satisfying Mexican Lunch, Dinner, or whenever you visit Fiesta Grande! No matter the crowd size, I have Always had well made mix drinks & Love the frozen Margaritas!!! I especially like the strawberry, and Strawberry/Peach frozen Rita Pitchers! All while snacking on chips, salsa, and Queso dip is Awesome! Then Quality and Hearty portions of tacos, Burritos, chimichangas, Amazing Enchiladas, (especially chicken in my opinion!) Served with a large variety of sauces and flavors! The Service is the Best I've received, especially on a consistent basis, which has a big part to do with the owner, PAUL! Always smiling, honestly seems like Paul knows SO Many of the Customers, Remembers my whole family by first name. It's very important to Paul to have Excellent, Second to NONE, Service, and provide every customer with a Great Mexican food experience!! He is more friendly, sincerely dedicated than Any Hispanic Manager/Owner/Operator that I have EVER experienced by far! Actually, Better than any fine Restaurant regardless of the ethnicity of the food, Owner/Operator than we have Ever experienced! Fiesta Grande is a must visit restaurant, Very reasonably priced, with a near 100% surety you will leave Completely Satisfied! I'm know no one or nothing is perfect, but I honestly believe Fiesta Grande will please the whole family, ans Adults always have a Great time alsoĀ” Enjoy...

2024/07/10 Been going here many years! Always loved it. In recent years it had gone downhill and i quit going. About a month ago i went, and ordered the chicken Tacos. I was very surprised at how good they were. 2 days ago i did the same. But this time it was very obvious there was a new chef or manager or SOMEthing. Not only was the presentation of all our tables food displayed to look very inviting (compared to the usual so-so appearance), the food was super fresh and way more flavorful than ever! I mentioned to the server and cashier that there must be a new chef in town. This delightful experience has caused me to want to go back, sooooon!!! I really wish i had remembered to take pics!! But wanting to dig into the food was uppermost in my mind once i saw it. (I will next time) Thanks Fiesta Grande, for upping your game! I truly hope...
