I attended Rose-Hulman a number of years ago, getting a Computer Engineering degree. I disconnected from Rose for a while at the beginning of my career, but have reengaged with Rose recently. While I do not directly use much of my engineering education given that I am more of a businessperson today, the experience I gained at Rose in how to think, how to learn, and how to figure things out in my job and in life in general was invaluable. While I did not love it while there, especially given how hard it was, I am very grateful for the opportunity to have graduated from Rose. After reconnecting recently, and being on campus again a few times, it is EASY to see that it is a great school. The brain power there among both the faculty and students is amazing. A great school! It is a course focus school, which means that research opportunities and resources, on the other hand, are limited. Cafeteria is quite bad. I went to a bigger university and realized how bad those food provided by Bon Appetit was. Still, can't believe it has been three years since...
