From a professional standpoint you wanted an professional service for no pay and then reviewed the company with a less then factual review because they would not provide a slipshod valuation. Not providing slipshod off the cuff valuation was the ethical, reasonable and prudent course of action in this case.. No professional should be required to provide for free information that takes training, equipment, time and has legal liability. No CPA does this, no Physician, no attorney offers these kinds of services and your local Jewelry appraiser should not be asked to...

After my 1st visit, I knew I'd definitely be returning! They helped me with a devastating situation when the stone fell out of my son's birthstone ring that I've worn since his birth 20+ year's ago & as I "rub & look at it as a comfort measure as I'm trying to handle my Dementia symptoms & we are extremely bonded as he is my caregiver also & this happened the day after I had tests for cancer & we were awaiting the results. All I wanted was my comfort symbol & they had my ring repaired, at a VERY reasonable price within the week! They also spoke to me & treated me with much kindness, understanding & empathy, already making me feel like a very valued customer, even though it was my first visit. For starters this place is a rip off and the owner/manager is very rude and would not and could not even answer my questions when I addressed her.. I had a simple 30 second service done and was charged $13 and told I had to leave it over night which turned into 4 days.. Today I had the VERY SAME service done and was done in 30 seconds as I knew it could be and no charge so I asked why the difference in each time I came to which she was evasive and very rude and could not answer me. I also had a charm fixed with a lil bitty o ring to attach to a necklace and was charged $62 under the impression she had to 'modify the charm to make it fit' and it is very tacky to say the least and I will have to have it repaired at another jeweler to even wear it... Don't waste your time or money here... The charm will not move on the necklace and it is not a mens necklace as they claim and even if it was do the job right and not try to cut corners and rip off someone to fatten...
