Dollar General — Local services in Thompson

My husband and I went in to grab a few 24 packs of water. We thought it would only take a few minutes. But it took a lot longer. We were delayed by an older gentleman who was a little confused about using his debit card. We were both very impressed at the patience and kindness of the cashier. He very slowly explained step by step how to use it at least 3 times. He stayed very calm and talked in a very soft tone. The older gentleman was getting very frustrated. The clerk(a young man) came around the counter and helped him process his order re-explaining every step so he could understand. The gentleman thanked him as he left. This was the 1st time I shopped at this Dollar General. I usually go to the 1 in Dudley. The employee who rang my items up was super nice. And fast! I was only in there for a few minutes to pick up a couple of things. So I didn't walk around the whole store. Looks like they carry a plethora of items that don't cost a fortune. Same for the others too. The difference between them is that this store was quite messy. There were a few aisles I saw that had all kinds of things on them. Nothing was organized or looked in order. Maybe this isn't how it usually looks. I don't know. But it wouldn't stop me from going back....

This location is a store that is completely jam packed to the rafters but product. There ate definite finds here for everyone and anyone. I challenge anyone to come here and not find something they want or need. At a very reasonable price. The layout of the store could be Improved upon.
