Village Trader — Local services in Thousand Oaks

I have been a customer of The Village Trader since it opened and I love this market! Ernie is not only a wonderful person but he is very customer service oriented. If there is anything you need he will try his best to make it happen. He carries the full line of Boar's Head meat and unlike other smaller stores her charges the same or less than the larger stores like Ralph's or Gelson's. Recently, we had a gathering and I asked Ernie to cater it. I ordered a variety of items which included tacos, salads and sandwiches. The prices were very good and the food was delicious! I would recommend anyone in the area to use this market for catering. He was beyond accommodating to our needs. In this day and age it is so refreshing to have an owner of a business who is so hands on and truly appreciates his customers....

Where do I start with The Village Trader. MacReeves and I popped in for sandwiches from the deli. We settled quickly on the Muffaletta and Italian Sub. Both were lighter, California-style interpretations and super yummy. They use Boars Head meats so you know quality is top-notch!
