I enjoyed this hike. I did Wolf Rock to Cat Rock to the Cunningham Falls State Park portion. It's pretty rock and hilly. I brought my trekking polls, which was nice. The Cat Rock view is awesome!

You'll notice the difference between a Maryland State Park and one in Pennsylvania because in Maryland our trails are extremely well marked, and in many cases maintained with stone and removal of fallen trees and vegetation. They are often highlighted by excellent signage as well as majestic scenic views. While I am not politically active, I must congratulate our Republican Governor Hogan who has astutely and generously funded the department of natural resources for the maintenance of these beautiful trails and Vista views. Ample parking that is paved, facilities with running water as well as restrooms, of course signage as well as maps. Take the time to enjoy catoctin mountain with your family and you won't be...
