Anita Stewart Oncology Center - Radiation Oncology — Local services in Tifton

I’m writing this review based on my mother’s care from this facility. She underwent a double mastectomy recently and chose to utilize local oncological care in her home town. If my mother ever needs further oncological care, she says she will not return here or recommend anyone to do so. The staff did not send off biopsies after her surgery and on her 2 week post surgical appointment, she did not get any results (whether chemotherapy was needed). This happened a second time at a 4 week post surgery appointment with this facility. My mom has had increased anxiety due to this unfortunate situation. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was a very emotional life event for her. The staff were very cold and showed no empathy toward her feelings and situation. My appointment was at 2 o'clock with Dr.Ravipati. I got there at 1:45 and checked in. There was only 5 people in there at the time. Then people started coming in and filled up the waiting room. Everyone was called back but me. I said something twice to 2 different nurses and they said they'd let someone know. Then the 3 o'clock patient's started coming in and getting called back. This place is awesome the staff is Superb from the front office to the lab they make you feel like home. The nurses are Excellent they don’t let you want for anything they are always right within your reach when receiving service. There is no other place that I have been too like this one.
