It takes a lot to get a 5 star rating. It also takes a pretty significant issue to get less than a 3. I live here. I'm not sure what buildings these other comments are coming from saying they can hear everything but I can't say the same about my neighbors and I have great hearing (the outside noise is a different comment later on). This is apartment life. This is close quarters living but the layouts of the homes really prevent even the obnoxiously loud residents noise, from encroaching on my peace. We have plenty of police presence living in the area. You get more space for your buck, that's for sure. Low electric rates (I don't use much AC) and I can deal with the water/sewer expense for the low electric bill I have. Very pet friendly environment and in general, polite neighbors. Every review should have both positive and negative details though. Water pressure, yeah, it's not the best. Sure, we could ask for fire hose quality but then you're going to pay for a lot more on the utility side of things. I can deal, some can't. The media fee, eh, you can get around this I'm sure by getting an attorney. I don't watch TV, just DVDs and streaming. It would probably be a good idea just to raise the rent 95 bucks, exclude the "Media fee" and just include it in the rent with the option to upgrade instead of listing media fee which currently you must pay. There are cheaper options then what AT&T offer and they won't necessarily give you the service if you have any past due invoices through other AT&T product lines. I know because it happened for 6 months while an issue was resolving and I was still stuck with a "Media Fee" for service I couldn't have. Parking is open and easy, at least in my building. I'm being told I'm going to have an assigned spot. I don't agree with this but I get it, people abandon their cars here and or park when they shouldn't but I at times have more than what I may be allotted due to my 2 older kids who visit and drive. This is going to be a conflict at some point and if I happen to have to rent a car or have to take a work vehicle home, it's going to be an issue. I'm not sure this is a well thought out idea, just my opinion. I love the grocery close by and Domino's. I'm pretty sure I keep that location in business. The clubhouse, pool and workout facility is a little far off distance from my unit so I don't use it, ever. The mailboxes themselves, understanding the one location is convenient for the USPS, it's a ways off as well. Maybe having centralized the clubhouse instead of putting it off to one end would have been more convenient. I'm also aware of only one trash dumpster which again, is far off. The worst complaint I have though, and it's really the only complaint, everything else is a nuisance, is the windows seem to be super thin. I can hear people outside talking. Not neighbors through walls, but people in the parking lot. Or the guy with the big truck and loud exhaust. And the 10MPH speed limit is NOT enforced and should be. Also, residents with dogs don't always pick up their animals litter, this should be better dealt with. But, it's apartment life and that's what I choose. You won't find a better place for the price (renewal is coming up, keep that in mind management) unless you qualify for section 8 somewhere, then you might get a better option. I don't like the advertising as "Luxury" or "Resort", they've done their best here to try the upgraded feel. I call it quality versus luxury. Most resorts I've stayed at have a gate and or security detail in order to access the parking lot. Close access to I95 and US1, schools, bowling center, most needed amenities. I'll repeat, for the money spent, I think it's a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I have lived here about a year and a half. It started out a little rocky due to a neighbor down stairs saying that we where being too loud even though we really didnāt feel like we where trying to be. We did come from our own house so there was an adjustment period. We had the cops called on multiple occasions and a couple of letters from the front office but we tried our best to keep it down. He moved out a few months in which was a relief. We had a one bedroom which was bigger then any one bedroom Iāve ever seen in an apartment. The layout was very good which we really enjoyed. We could hear our neighbor upstairs quite often but we didnāt mind it all that much. You get to a point where you just ignore it. We ended up knowing her routine pretty quickly (Sundayās where vacuuming days). The amenities are great with access pretty much anytime for the gym and the pool stayed open pretty late if you wanted. Parking can get a bit tight but not so much on the one bedrooms. One down thing is if you put in a work order it seems like days (if ever) till you get a response. I donāt know if itās due to Covid but I have had a work order put in to repair some carpet coming up between the bathroom and bedroom for over two months with no reply. Also I will say in the last few months the apartment staff has been getting a little too lax with rules around the complex. Iāve started to notice a lot of glass being brought around the pool and also a lot of dog poop being left with no consequences. Also Iāve notice quite a few restricted breeds for dogs being allowed to come in. Iāve spotted 3 different pit bulls, which one almost attacked my dog due to the lady not being able to control the dog cause of the sheer strength of it. I am an animal lover but why have rules if you donāt enforce them. I canāt seem to think of any apartments better in Titusville but honestly there isnāt a whole lot to chose from. Iāve been told that some of the apartment complex is reserved for section 8 housing so I donāt see the complex lasting too long as a decent place to live. Iāve noticed a down swing in the last few months and I am relieved my job is making me relocate to Davenport, FL. Overall it is a decent place to live but I donāt see it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, there is no club house, no pool, and none of the advertised amenities.
Another issue is the water/sewer billing. When I signed my lease in September, I was told that I would be billed based on usage and that costs for a single occupant is about $25. I received my first water bill which was almost $80.00 and included a $4 service charge, which I never agreed to, and a $14 trash charge, which I was told was included in the rent. I also found out that my water/sewer charges were not based on usage, but rather divided up equally between all the units. So a single person living alone in a unit pays the same as a family of 4 or 5. This is unfair, especially towards me since I typically shower at the gym, thanks to there being no club house, and I'm seldom home. To make matters worse, the tenants are also paying for the water usage from the construction crews. Twice, I've noticed a leaky hose hooked up to the building, running all day and all night long. The tenants here are getting ripped off, in a big way.
The apartments are poorly built. The walls are so thin that I can hear literally everything going on next door.
Oh, and the 5 star reviews trash talking everyone filing complaints are most likely from employees of the company. If these places were properly insulated, you couldn't hear your next door neighbor flushing the toilet or taking a shower. Also, many people move here from out of town and didn't have a chance to see the place before moving in. Therefore, when the Apartment web site and apartment finder sites advertise amenities and show photos of all these alleged amenities, people will assume that the amenities are complete and ready for use. This is false advertisement and the tenants should receive a discount on rent until the amenities are complete, hopefully some time before our...
