The customer service is always good, and it's what keeps me coming back for quick grabs when I don't want to drive far. However, the prices are always higher than everywhere else (nevermind their new campaign), and for fewer choices in anything and NO options for people with dietary needs. There isn't a sugar-free product in the store except for one flavor of jello-brand pudding. If Winn Dixie is going to be the most expensive store in town, the least they could do is provide some variety. Instead, it feels like the general store in some old western book that has one of everything at whatever price they feel like. Thankfully, we have other stores in town with a variety of choices and much better prices when I need to pick up more than one or two quick items. Furthermore, the parking lot hasn't been painted or updated since the 80s by the look of things, inside it feels dingy and neglected, and there seems to be a lack of care concerning atmosphere. It's just a dirty old store run into the ground by time and weather run by a few good-hearted employees that try but cannot keep it afloat by good...
Read moreWinn-Dixie is not worthy of being a business! Their store brand SC Grocers is the lowest quality food I've ever experienced. The majority of times I have purchased this brand I end up throwing out the item because it tastes so bad. The dollar section sells paper and plastic products that are cheap and defective. And the produce.,. well just take a look at my photo. Today I had to stop there for a head of lettuce because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. This head of lettuce the BEST one out of all of them they had on the shelf. Even their organic lettuce was rotten. The fact that they had them out there for sale is shameful and disrespectful to the community. There was a produce guy right next to me stocking while I was looking at the lettuce options. He clearly was ok with this shelf full of brown lettuce If I had the time, I would protest against the Winn-Dixie estaplishment. They disrespect our community by selling such low quality products and food. I don't understand how they are still in business! Go to...
Read moreI only go to this store because it's close to where I stay so I go to get my last minute items to grab and go. They have the absolute worst customer service. I usually don't complain. I've even had cashiers talk and cuss amongst themselves. No biggie as I just want to get in and get out. However I draw the line when they are disrespectful. Had the absolute worst experience with cashier Alison at the Harrison store. Complained to manager on duty and called corporate. Will be calling store manager when he gets to work in the morning. She definitely needs a class in customer service. I've worked in the customer service business for over 15 years and NEVER in a million years would I treat a customer the way she treated me. Update: still one star rating. Need to learn to schedule cashiers.I do not work for Winn-Dixie therefore should not be forced to bag my own groceries. Also needs to have outside cleaning by the front door done at night instead of while customers are coming in and...
