Great falls. Well manicured area. Has stepping items in place for the muddy areas. If you read the reviews about bad directions or the road is closed, these are not true if you park at the designated spot, which if off the major route at the bridge, and get directions to Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area. 0.4 miles from this parking lot.

There are some fake pictures posted on here posted by some photographer that show a tall waterfall. That is not Tobyhanna Falls. Tobyhanna falls is a shallow waterfall. But there is this amazing flat rock area to sit and enjoy the water rushing past or you can hike up farther and thereโ€™s a picnic area and overlook spot.

If you turned into the area with the gate go back out onto the highway make a left go just over the bridge. Make a left into the Austin T Blakeslee Natural Area. Use the red trail markings on the trees to get to the Falls. Muddy after a rain making tree stump stepping stones slick. Bridge in rough shape. (See photo)
