I ordered an induction cooktop last week from Appliance Connection thinking that it would be shipped in 48 hours and that it was the last one available. This it what the website told me when I ordered (Electrolux 36 in induction cooktop). When I click in the email and review my order it shows that it was shipped on time but when I click on the tracking it says pending pick up. Also when I looked on their website it shows the 1cooktop I ordered to be still available and still only 1 left. I called to check on the order and they told me that they would reach out to the distribution center and find out what happened and get back with me within 24 hours. 24 hours later no response so I called again. Basically they told me that there was nothing they could do and they Believed it would be shipped out mid next week but really had no idea. It is obvious that they never had the unit and they are waiting to receive it. This would have been fine if they told me this but instead they choose to lie. The manager also told me that my $2500 purchase was not enough to ship via Fed Ex to fix the problem and that it would likely show up damaged....

It was out of 30 day window and they will do NOTHING for the fact that both top and bottom doors and back vent panel are smashed. Not my fault the contractors got delayed with labor shortages and illness and couldn’t get to appliances until now. I had spoken to management on the phone and they said they absolutely would take care of it and walked me through the claim process. You can never get an answer in a timely fashion. When you call they end up telling you they will contact you by the end of the business day. My purchase has been sitting in a warehouse that is 4 hours from my home. It has been there for 10 days. The delivery is late and I can not get any resolution other than it may be next week or longer. Then they try to pacify me by offering free install or extra warranty.
