I was with the person who left the most recent review on 04.26.2024. Although we recently moved here from Arizona, we were born and raised in Ohio and have been to many farmers markets. I was surprised this market was in the neighborhood near us, and based on reviews we were like wow!, let’s check it out, go get some fresh fruit. All the fruit were really huge, and had barcode stickers on them from a different vendor. (Not Kroger because Kroger stickers say USA). There were no prices posted up, nothing organic in this market. I asked if there were any small jars of honey, the owner went to the back and brought out a huge container of premium honey(Walmart sales this brand for 10.98) and this was priced 14 and some change. Usually at farmers markets there are local Ohio honey, organic or raw. Even the bag of peanuts we bought were not fresh and sealed in a “great value” plastic baggie. Needless to say, I disposed of the bag of fruit I purchased worth $20.03, so basically this is the price I have paid to leave my review, and whenever a customer shops at a place of business we are not obligated to discuss anything with an owner or manager before writing a review. The next day I had to go to Kroger and buy all my fruit and let me tell you I got more at a fraction of the price - 4 mango at $1 each, while I was charged 3.50 for one mango that was mushy and going brown inside. And there is a sign that says don’t squeeze the fruit. My grandmother taught me how to pick my fruit long ago, so I was like ummmm, okay. We will not return here, we understand what may be in or out of season as we do our research ALWAYS. So this place is not for us, over priced, and a wasted trip. If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself and leave YOUR...
Read moreFirst time shopping at this Market. The Market was so neat and clean. The owner keeps the market at a good temperature. Went shopping for my mother 08/13/21. The employees are very nice! This market had what I was looking for. I could not help but notice, that the Sweet Potatoes, look really fresh! And if anyone has an issue with the cost of “Fresh Fruits, and Vegetables. Then you do not want fresh. One of his employees, was wiping the sweat off of the Watermelon. That is amazing to me. The owner really cares about what he is selling to people.

Read more10/10 highly recommend! Freshest fruits and vegetables I've ever seen in Toledo and if you have any complaints about pricing you're crazy! Came in and got 5 1/2 pounds of potatoes, 4 cobs of corn, and a bell pepper for under $20, much better than going to a super market where all the produce will rot in a week after you spend $20+ for it all. This place seems family owned, home grown produce, and they're incredibly kind...
