I have had two lawn treatments from Aggieland Green. I am noticing fewer weeds and I am anticipating an improvement in my lawn. Mike was the most recent technician and took the time to give me some tips I could do to help my grass cover some of the bare spots. I have tried a lot of lawn services and they seem very anxious to complete the service only to return again and again to treat for weeds or other issues. This was our first treatment by Aggieland Green and Mark B. The company came highly recommended by the company that recently installed a Texas native landscape designed to attract pollinators and wildlife. Mark arrived on the appointed day and texted when he was on his way and when he arrived. I discussed the treatments for our new zoysia grass and trees/shrubs/flowers. After he completed his work I received a text with instructions about watering and keeping people and pets out of the area. So far, it’s a very good start. Initial treatment seemed to fertilize the lawn and the weeds, which seemed to get completely out of control. I called about it and Mark came by as scheduled and took the time to walk the yard with me. He noted my concerns and proceeded with the lawn treatment. UPDATE: Dropped two stars since my primary concern was weed control and they have still done little to get them under control. I have paused my service treatments until they are ready to apply pre-emergent to prevent weed regrowth next spring. I will see how things look next year and update this...
