I went to the 2022 fair Thursday night , Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Thursday was less crowded by a few people!! Ate decent tasting chicken fingers and fries at the barn food truck Thursday. Saturday turtle races were lots of fun. Good crowd to watch. Too bad the little half inch turtle didn’t win his heat!! Saturday ate at the food truck serving burgers, pulled pork and mac n cheese!! That was the best food I had at the fair in long time at that truck. Killer food but everyone seemed to line up elsewhere for other higher priced stuff?? As for the bull riding event I went to, the little clown with the mic needs to be eliminated from the events. Stupid and obnoxious “jokes”!! The bull riding was not great but that clown made me decide to leave going into the finals. The mutton busting was the best part!! All in all I enjoyed the fair...
Read moreLots of rides for grandkids and teens and adults. Plenty of places on the fairgrounds to eat. Can walk through different buildings to see cows, goats, rabbits, and pigs. Kids can walk right up to the animals. Some are in pens like pigs, rabbits and goats. All the cows are in open pens. Also there were firetrucks and police vehicles on site. The Grandkids were able to talk with the firemen and sit in their firetrucks. Safe environment. Also have a paid rodeo you can go to on certain nights. Usually a great turnout so it's gets very crowded around...
