Grounded Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Tonganoxie

We visited Grounded over the summer while on a trip from California. We were staying in a nearby town with family and they suggested we try Grounded. We love to support small and local, and this was just what we were looking for! We went with the kids one day and liked it so much, we made sure we went there once again before we left. It was out of the way of the airport, but well worth it! I tried their seasonal summer drink, I think it was called "mocha loca"....or something like that...anyways, it was so delicious! I absolutely love this coffee shop. The atmosphere is just perfect and their iced lattes are to die for. Dare I say, I like them better than the Starbucks iced lattes. They have this breakfast sandwich that honestly sounded weird but, my goodness, a phenomenal dish. The individuals that work there are so kind and always have the sweetest, most genuine smiles when you come in. Hands down my favorite...

Stopped here for an iced coffee and a quick bite while waiting for my son to finish strength and training at the high school. Really cute place! There are a few places to sit and enjoy your coffee inside and outside. I had the Moco Coco iced coffee and the breakfast burrito. Was really hoping to try the breakfast croissant sandwich but they were sold out. Guess that just gives me a reason...
