We were in Elkhart for some repair work on our fifth wheel, and we wanted to shop the local furniture and surplus stores to replace our badly peeling Thomas Payne recliners. We stopped in at Precision Sewing and were impressed with the quality of the furniture they made. Gene spent over an hour with us discussing not only options for our recliners but also Amish theology and practice. It was a fascinating and informative conversation and we were impressed enough with Gene’s integrity and craftsmanship that we ordered two recliners without even visiting any of the other stores.

We had the option of which style of furniture, color and type of covering, and even the stitching pattern. The one thing we liked about our old recliners was the tray tables that were held by spring loaded holders in the arms. Gene was able to add identical trays to our new chairs, and because I am tall he even extended the backs of the chairs so I would be more comfortable.

We are more than pleased with the comfort and quality of our new recliners and are very glad we stopped here first. We paid a fair price that was only a bit higher than a couple of chairs we were looking at on Amazon, and I’m confident the quality is much higher. Gene and his son Ian finished the recliners on time, and Ian even helped me remove the old chairs and install the new ones.

If you are shopping for RV furniture, make this your first stop, or at least visit them before plunking your money down somewhere else. It'll likely be worth your while. We were visiting in Indianapolis and only had one day to shop for RV furniture to replace our worn-out theater seating, so we made a list of several outlets to visit. RV Bargain Furniture Barn was the first stop on the route, and as it turned out the only stop we needed to make for the perfect piece for the space we have. And at a great price.

On a side note, they are just beginning to make their own furniture. They showed us a recliner with really nice leather and a beautiful design -- their first piece -- and asked our opinion of it. Very comfy and stylish! We wish them success and a prosperous future.

On another side note, our GPS unit took us right to their store. We were confused at first, because their store is hidden behind another big building. Go through the gate, past the first building, and you'll find them further back...

When our late night online question was answered before 7am CST, we knew we had found business owners that care about their clients. Yes! They had two of those tri-fold sofa sleepers and would be happy to help coordinate theater seating.

During the first half hour of our four hour drive, Gene sent color/style options for our review. What a difference that made as we would be arriving just before close of the day!

The business is located in Bldg. 77 of an industrial park where things look very similar, but our GPS led us directly to the clearly labeled building.

We were warmly welcomed into the lovely scented showroom. Ian quickly appeared and invited us to sit in the various theater seating options. And, within minutes, he was loading our new living room furniture.
