O D Greene Ace Home Center — Local services in Town of Adams

OD Greene's is exactly what you'd expect from a small-town hardware store.

The selection is limited compared to a Lowe's or a Home Depot, but if you're working on a weekend project, they've basically got whatever you need right there in stock.

They tell me they can handle larger projects or order in what they don't have, but I haven't taken them up on that yet.

The prices are competitive, especially lumber.

On weekends, they break out the popcorn maker. My kids love it. Who am I kidding? I love it.

The employees are consistently both friendly AND knowledgeable on a variety of topics and - if you don't feel like wandering around looking for a specific item - can help you find what you're looking for to get you...

Update: Ended up using these guys. Made up for previous issues in spades. This is now my go to dealer for bulk lumber.

Previous: Talk to sales manager earlier in week. Said he works until closing. Took off from work a little early to catch him today. He was gone 40 minutes before they close. Renee is helping us design our cabin! She literally spent the entire day going over details about flooring, walls, cabinets, kitchen and 3 bathroom designs! She is so 8nf9rmed!!
