Lowery Family Farms — Local services in Town of Bath

Very disappointed. Don't expect anything like a butcher shop or meat market "store", or you will drive right past it like I did. It's a glorified roadside stand. All the meats are piled into one chest style freezer that looks like its from the 70's, totally chaotic, just all kinds of cuts mixed up and you have to handle them all digging around to find something. The front outside space has some veggies which looked 'ok' but not spectacular, some peppers etc were already wrinkling, empty veg packing boxes were strewn about in piles, the yards were unkempt and full of knee high weeds. The one positive thing I can say about the visit there is that the lady working inside was very sweet and personable, she made conversation easy, and I enjoyed her...

I’ve been a customer here for a couple years now but after my last experience I’m not sure I’ll be back I preordered a 18 pound Turkey which was the perfect amount for my family and I kept in communication on Facebook and told them when I’d be coming in, I got there tonight and they didn’t have my preorder they sold it so I had to get a 12 pound Turkey which a couple days away from thanksgiving is totally unacceptable when I had the perfect amount preordered. Not happy that now I have to go pick up a ham just so the people coming over have enough food. Their solution was to sell me two turkeys which I do not want to cook two turkeys. Friendly people. Some pretty cool stuff. Great pumpkins (fall 2024). I won't take a star for this as I know how hard it is to run a family business, but I do think they'd be well served to remove some of the clutter.
