I have a super hyper large breed puppy named Daphne I got a few months ago in august 2024, and it was hard for me to keep up with her activity level, while also trying to balance work and school. She has a dog brother named Alvin but he is a x-small breed and 8 years old, he loves to sun bath with her and go for car rides to the beach or have treats together, but he is not as playful as her so she doesn't have any playmates at home except rarely when my cat Sabrina plays with her. I found out about Hounds Town a few moths ago in November and went with Daph for her evaluation. It was quick, and easy, and she passed! My girl has a great time whenever i drop her off for the day. It also helps me have a better day knowing she is in good hands and playing with other friendly pups all day! As of right now I don't bring Daphne as often as id like because I was let go from my job until April. Im home more often anyway because my school is half virtual. So we get to go on plenty of walks and hikes and play fetch in the yard, but I still try to let her have one day out of the week to come here and burn energy. Even after only one day I can tell she's more relaxed and chill for the next few days, because she got a full day to run and play. This place has very reasonable pricing for day care and boarding, and you can tell the owner is a dog lover. My Daphne gets just as excited to see him and the rest of the staff as she does to get to see all her friends!

My dog Bella has been going to Hounds Town Brookhaven for almost a month. I can say it has been a very pleasant experience for myself and Bella. The owner, Brad, and his staff are polite and attentive of every dog and their needs.

For example, on Bella’s first day, they put her in a section with other dogs that were her size. The energy level of the other dogs in the section were too high for Bella’s liking and they immediately recognized that. They then placed her in a section where the other dogs matched her temperament and energy and she now has her pack mates and besties and always enjoys her time there.

Aside from daycare services, they also offer boarding, which I have yet to try out, as well as bathing, nail trimming, etc. Rates for daycare are very reasonable, especially when you can drop off and pick up from open to close if you choose to do so.
