Moriches Sports Complex — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

The 4 fields are nicely laid out with all backstops meeting at the center of the complex. There are 4 batting cages, not huge but big enough to throw BP about 15' to the plate if you want. There is a concession stand with a wide variety of food and snacks and it is reasonably priced The bathrooms are for different genders and they are clean and have enough stalls for about 4-5 occupants. I can't speak for the women's bathroom....because I am am man.

The only negatives are; the bathrooms are way to far from where the fans sit (stands). You need to hustle (run) to the bathroom in between innings if you want to catch the start of the next inning and they are so far that you are guaranteed to miss some of the next inning. To solve this they added a porta potty but there is only one and it is about half way between the stands and the real bathrooms. They need more porta pottys ASAP.

They should really centralize the bathrooms and concession stand. It would be better for the fans and make them more money on food sales, because it would be closer to the fans. Although this may be challenging because the center hub of the complex may not be big enough to accommodate that improvement. However, I believe, where there's a will there's a way.

Regardless of the negatives, it's one of the best fields in my opinion because it. Provides both turf and grass (outfield). 4 stars because of the bathroom/concession...

Very nice complex was suppose to play in a tournament at complex . Never got a game in instead of cancelling the tournament due to 3 day rain storm that was forecast for 2 weeks . unfortunately he wanted the money instead of doing the right thing which was to cancel . 1000 dollars later we sat in a hotel for 3days for no reason except for one mans greed . Will never come back . Boo to the greedy sob who filled his pockets knowing weather would never permit these games to happen . Stay away from...

Nice venue, all turf infield, grass outfield, realistic dimentions and good lighting. Town facility with 4 fields, no scoreboards. Black cyclone fencing in the outfield, surrounded by pines. Batters may lose track of the ball from the pitchers hand. Facilities are upgraded with a snack stand and real bathrooms. Small playground for the non-ballplayers, with a picnic area. Spacious parking and handicapped acces. Gas station, fast food , 711,and major supermarket within 1/2...
