Reasonable rates...Stayed at the lodge for a quick 1 1/2 day one night trip to the Oak. The lodge is quite spacious, with plenty of room for a large group. It was only 2 of us. We rented a room that included 2 bunk beds and access to one of the 2 bathrooms and kitchenette. The shared living room area has a nice big table, TV and couches. There was no one else staying there at the time, so we had the place to ourselves.    Read moreGreat place, Ron the owner is a class act and very knowledgeable in all things fishing. He carries everything you could need or want to fish the Oak and all of the surrounding tribs. I take all of my business to him and many times we drive over an hour just to pick things up that no one else carries. He also has cozy accommodations for out of state/town fisherman visiting the area. Most if not all of my rods that are worth mentioning come from Ron and all have been well worth the investment even when not in use during the off seasons. Not sure of the other shop in town (Narby's?) but if you fish the oak, for the sake of tradition and good luck - a stop at Ron's is always worth while. Great fly selection and outside of steelie/salmon season you can always get into some good action...
